2015-16 Excellence Award for Agricultural Students

Farm Management Canada and the Canadian Association of Diploma in Agriculture Programs (CADAP) are proud to hold Excellence Award for Agricultural Students, designed to encourage students to improve their critical thinking, communication and leadership skills through a national competition.

The award is designed to help students develop their communication skills by having the opportunity to voice their opinion on a subject related to farm management.

The 2015-16 competition is now closed, but check our website for the most recent edition of the competition, which usually runs from September to May.

Students were asked to submit a multimedia presentation, a video, a Twitter chat, a blog or a Wiki, responding to the following question:

What top priorities should industry focus on in order to be a leading agricultural body going forward? How will you, as a new graduate, positively contribute to these priorities?

2015-16 Winners

  1. Tomina Jackson, University of Saskatchewan, SK
  2. Jessica Thompson, Maryfield School, SK
  3. Laurie Laliberté, Université Laval, QC

Congratulations to our winners!
